TWO companies are considering listing their tradable bonds on the Financial Exchange Securities (FINSEC) to raise capital before year-end, it has emerged.

FINSEC is the second securities exchange in Zimbabwe and the first alternative trading platform after the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

Without revealing the identity of the two companies, FINSEC chief executive officer Collen Tapfumanei said he was optimistic the deals could be sealed soon.

"Negotiations with two firms seeking to float multi-million dollar tradable bonds on the exchange are now at an advanced stage," Tapfumanei said.
