Construction of the glass-and-aluminum conference centre that will host the 20th session of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation General Assembly in Victoria Falls this Friday is complete.

Zimbabwe and Zambia are co-hosting the week-long general assembly in Victoria Falls and Livingstone respectively.
More than a thousand delegates are expected to attend the event, one of the biggest to be hosted by the country in recent years.

Professional conference organiser, Liegn Wallace, said the structure located at the Elephant Hills Hotel and constructed by a South African company in partnership with local players only awaits final inspection by the UNWTO advance team that came into the country last week on Friday.
