NMBZ Holdings Limited has announced the appointment of Ashley Fushai as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), marking a promotion from his previous role as Chief Risk Officer.

Fushai brings with him over 17 years of experience in the financial services sector and is a distinguished alumnus of the Rabobank Future Leadership Program, where he graduated as valedictorian. His elevation reflects NMBZ's commitment to strengthening its leadership team with seasoned professionals capable of driving operational excellence and strategic growth.

Meanwhile, Luckson Madziwa has been appointed Managing Director of NMBZ Holdings' technology subsidiary, XPlug Solutions. Madziwa previously served as Chief Technology and Operations Officer, where he played a key role in leading the subsidiary's regional expansion into seven countries.

Before joining NMBZ Holdings, Madziwa held senior roles at Telecel, Econet Wireless, and Steward Bank, where he contributed to major digital transformation and systems integration projects.

The appointments are part of NMBZ Holdings' broader strategy to accelerate innovation and operational efficiency across its business units while strengthening its footprint in the region's financial technology landscape.
