Econet Wireless Global chairperson and controlling shareholder Strive Masiyiwa is mulling a London Stock Exchange listing.

Sources said Masiyiwa is mulling a listing on the LSE and wants to position Econet as a global mobile telecommunications and data service brand.

The sources said Masiyiwa, who has reportedly been spending more time in the United Kingdom, has been raising the profile of Econet Wireless Zimbabwe there.

Econet Wireless Global is a diversified telecommunications group with operations and investments in Africa, Europe, South America, and East Asia.
