Platinum mining giant, Zimplats has completed a major facelift of Kadoma General Hospital to the tune of over $1 million.
The refurbishment of the hospital is expected to boost service delivery which had been severely affected by perennial water shortages, poor sanitation facilities and a poor transport system.
In an interview after visiting the hospital last week, Zimplats head of corporate affairs Busi Chindove said the infrastructure at the hospital had become antiquated thereby compromising service delivery.
