ACCOUNTING OFFICER X4 - GRADE F

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above position which has arisen in the Northern Region's DBCs.

The Job
Reporting to the F&A Supervisor, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, responsible for:
 - Processing invoices.
 - Creditor payments.
 - Creditor reconciliations.
 - Following up on outstanding creditor issues.
 - Processing cheques and deposits.
 - Cashbook reconciliations.
 - Debtors' reconciliations.
 - Following up on all outstanding bank issues.
 - Daily banking summary.

The Person
The ideal applicant should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes:-
 - At least an HND in Accounting, part CIS, ACCA or CIMA.
 - At least 2 years in an Accounting environment.
 - Good interpersonal and communication skills.
 - Be aged between 25 and 35 years.
 - Be computer literate.
 - Working knowledge of environmental management systems such as ISO 14001 and safety standards.
