Stock market analysts say the 2014 national budget will set the tone for recovery of the local bourse that has been hit by massive losses in the past two weeks.

The daily turnover or volumes of shares being traded on the market continue to decline as investors await the 2014 national budget presentation on Thursday in anticipation of incentives to boost local productivity.

However, stock market analysts say the market will only recover after the presentation of the budget as investors will have information regarding the future macro-economic policies and targets.
