The Hwange local Board is courting investors for the construction of a 5 star hotel as the resort town seeks to boost tourism.
Hwange Local Board town secretary Ndumiso Mdlalose said a site visit for the 22 500 square metres of land where the hotel would be constructed was planned for September 19.
He said the local board had identified a site with good scenery.
The land is on a mountain and will overlook the proposed civic centre site for Hwange town.
The local authority was allocated $600 000 by the Finance ministry last year to spruce up its infrastructure ahead of the 20th session of the United Nations World Tourism Organisation General Assembly.
