Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Dr Sibusiso Moyo is now in Brussels, Belgium on the third leg of his re-engagement tour of Europe and the United States.

In Brussels, he is expected to engage authorities in that country as well as have discussions with the European Union which has imposed sanctions on Zimbabwe for over two decades.

The visit to Brussels and other countries he visited earlier on is in line with President Emmerson Mnangagwa's policy of mending ties with those countries that have not been friendly to Zimbabwe in recent years, and further strengthening of ties for Zimbabwe's all weather friends.

He has also invited all countries of the world to partner Zimbabwe in rebuilding the economy through his Zimbabwe is open for business mantra.

For the past week, Minister Moyo has been discussing the thawing of bilateral ties with United Kingdom authorities and met government officials who included Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson and Minister of State for Africa Ms Harriet Baldwin

He also attended the Commonwealth Summit as an observer and interacted with his counterpart in the group of former British colonies who encouraged Zimbabwe to rejoin the grouping.

In Brussels, Dr Moyo is expected to meet the European Union representatives to mend ties which were broken when the 28 member grouping imposed economic sanctions.

The group has been welcomed to come and observe Zimbabwe's elections in July.
