President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa says the new political dispensation in Zimbabwe has put in place appropriate policy and legislative frameworks to improve the country's investment climate and lower the risk and cost of doing business.

Officially opening the China (Zhejiang) - Zimbabwe Business Forum in Harare today, President Mnangagwa said government is guaranteeing safety and protection of all foreign investments and property rights.

The Zimbabwe-China Business Forum being held at a local hotel with over 60 business representatives from China is reciprocating President Mnangagwa's visit to one of China's wealthiest provinces in April this year.

President Mnangagwa went on twitter to express his feelings about the meeting.

Said Mnangagwa, "Great meeting this morning with 60 Chinese businesspeople here to explore investment opportunities & to attend the China-Zimbabwe business forum. Investment brings jobs. And while turning an economy around takes time, the benefits of our international outreach will be felt by all!"
