SecZim says it is optimistic that the capital markets will perform exceptionally well this year, despite economic headwinds.
Zimbabwe is facing its economic crisis in a decade as shown by increasing foreign currency shortages, huge trade and budget deficit, rising unemployment and labour unrests among other things.
Tafadzwa Chinamano, the SecZim chief executive said history has shown that capital markets tend to grow during economic hardships as investors try to cushion themselves against underlying uncertainties.
