We are looking for suitable candidates for the following positions to join our project teams in Gutu, Bulilima and Mangwe

        1.       MEAL Officers
        2.       Project Assistants EFSVL,
        3.       Project Assistant Logistics

These vacancies will involve extensive travelling and as such, you will need to be physically fit for travel, able and willing to travel regularly, at times at short notice locally and regionally. You should also have strong organization skills and be able to work effectively in a demanding environment. Proficiency in English and Shona and Ndebele is essential.

     1.  Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Assistant  

Reporting to District Project Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the MEAL Coordinator, Humanitarian Program Coordinator (HPC) and Program Coordinators of the Country Program to monitor and evaluate Humanitarian, Food Security and WASH programs. As MEAL Officer, you will lead on all monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) activities for the response initiatives in the designated district(s).  You will, therefore, work closely with the Oxfam MEAL network to ensure coordinated programme implementation and quality across the various areas of implementation.
 
What We Are Looking For:

Applications are invited from individuals who possess a Higher Diploma, Degree in Statistics, M&E, Agricultural Economics or equivalent and at least 3 years experience in MEAL in a national or international NGO.

 2.  Project Assistant – Emergency Food Security & Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL)

Reporting to the District Project Manager, the purpose of this role will be to support  the EFSVL Officer in the  planning, implementation and monitoring of all livelihoods and food security aspects of the response program and will involve assessing, analysing and responding to the Food Security & Livelihood requirements of the current food insecurity and El Nino related crisis in Zimbabwe to maximize integration with other areas of response activities (public health, governance, peace building and education).

What We Are Looking For:

 An individual with a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture, Agri- Business,  Environmental Science and Economics or Rural Development. Strong communication skills (English and Ndebele).  We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. INGO experience a plus.

3.   Project Assistant – Logistics & Administration

Reporting to the Logistics Officer.  The purpose of this role is to provide technical support in procurement, fleet management, warehousing and property management to the overall humanitarian response program(s). Key deliverables for this position include general administration of logistics processes in terms of warehousing, fleet management, documentation and reporting of all procurement processes.
 
What We Are Looking For:

An individual with a University degree/Advanced Diploma in Logistics or other professional qualifications in Logistics for example supply, warehousing or fleet management. Minimum of 3 years field experience in handling local and offshore supply,  transport management including clearance and tariff regimes. (Some of this time should have been in emergency relief programmes).
