Job purpose
Reporting to the Administration Assistant, the Intern will be responsible for the Program Area reception and administrative services.
   
Key responsibilities
Answering telephone calls from the switch board and office telephone lines within assigned scope of responsibility and directing callers to the respective people; Ensure courteous attendance to office visitors, their inquiries and directing them to the appropriate office; Maintaining the reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; Ensuring accurate sorting and recording of both incoming and outgoing mail; Providing Program Area staff with first-aid facilities when required; Issuing of taxi vouchers to staff; Processing payment packages; Minute taking during meetings.

Entry qualifications and experience
Studying towards a Diploma in Executive Secretarial studies or equivalent qualification; 5 "O" levels including Mathematics and English Language; Proficient in MS Office tools & use of relevant accounting software packages; Excellent interpersonal skills
