"Zanu-PF has always relied on its liberation history for legitimacy, but the younger generation is demanding more. If the party fails to renew itself, it risks implosion," said political analyst Alexander Rusero.

The party's grassroots structures remain strong in rural areas, but urban support has dwindled. Economic hardships and allegations of corruption have further eroded confidence.
