Mnangagwa says Zanu-PF is 'unstoppable'

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has called on ZANU-PF members to remain united, disciplined, and focused as the ruling party prepares for its 22nd National People's Conference in Mutare and the 2028 harmonised elections.

Addressing a Central Committee meeting in Harare, Mnangagwa said the party's long-term vision must take precedence over short-term considerations.

"It is of importance that we introspect not only on our immediate activities but with the bigger objective that our party wins the 2028 harmonised general elections," he said.

The President urged cadres to engage in frank discussions, stressing that no individual is greater than the collective.

"Never look down upon yourself or others. The interests of our party and nation must always come first," Mnangagwa said.

He also underscored ZANU-PF's commitment to inclusivity and grassroots mobilisation.

"All Zimbabweans are welcome in ZANU-PF. We all have a role to play and a contribution to make for the development of our motherland Zimbabwe," he declared.

Mnangagwa pointed to progress under the National Vision 2030 programme, saying it was delivering a higher quality of life for citizens. He urged party structures not to take public trust for granted.

"The wheels of revolution should continuously move forward. Our grassroots membership and structures should always be organised and well-informed. The success of our motherland Zimbabwe and our Party ZANU-PF is unstoppable," he said.

His remarks come as ZANU-PF intensifies preparations for both the upcoming conference and future elections, with a strong emphasis on unity, discipline, and loyalty to the ruling movement.
