F&A SUPERVISOR X3 - GRADE E

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above position which has arisen in the Northern Region's DBCs. The Job

Reporting to the DBC Supervisor, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, responsible for:
- Participating in the formulation and controlling of budgets and taking corrective action whenever necessary.
- Supervising creditors, inventory management and debtors' functions in the system.
- Conducting performance reviews on all staff under his/her control on a regular basis.
- Ensuring that proper records are kept regarding financial issues e.g. overtime, absenteeism, leave, registers, stationery and protective clothing issues.
- Timeous preparation and submission of accurate financial reports.
- Managing all financial aspects of the distribution aspects and banking and related issues.
- Close liaison with Human Resources on all HR issues.

The Perrson
The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum qualifications and attributes: -
- Have a degree in Accounting, Finance and/or full Accounting qualification like CIMA, ACCA or CIS.
- At least 3 years' experience in an accounting and manufacturing field.
- High level of computer literacy and knowledge of Syspro will be a distinct advantage.
- Capable of working under pressure and minimum supervision.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be aged between 25 and 35 years.
- Working knowledge of environmental management systems such as ISO 14001 and safety standards.
