Rapper Mukudzei Chitsama, popularly known as Holy Ten, set social media alight on the night of September 7, 2025, with a series of explosive posts targeting President Emmerson Mnangagwa's sons, Sean and Collins. The dramatic episode saw threats, accusations of intimidation, and claims of property disputes unfold in real time, only to end with a sudden apology.
The online saga began just after 9 PM when Holy Ten posted a cryptic message:
"Sean, Collins, should've never given me your gifts if you knew you could take them back."
Fans and observers quickly speculated that the musician was referring to property or other assets connected to the ruling family. Over the next hour, the posts grew increasingly defiant. By 9:24 PM, he warned:
"It's not fear. It's respect. Zanu-PF don't try me."
Minutes later, addressing his wife Kimberly Richards, he urged her to start packing their belongings, saying:
"Pack all our things. We're giving them back their house. Zvekunamata vanhu inini no (I will not bow down and pray to people)."
The tension escalated further with a 10:25 PM video clip, viewed nearly 20,000 times within an hour, in which Holy Ten declared:
"Inini I can end the Zanu-PF today."
He then directed pointed threats at Sean, a Zimbabwe National Army major, stating:
"Sean, what you did at my house, I'm coming to your house. Make sure you kill me. I'm not afraid of Zanu-PF, all of you. I'm not afraid of you. Stop what you are doing."
Collins was not spared either, as Holy Ten mocked his popularity and claimed he knew where the younger Mnangagwa lived in Harare.
The outburst marked a sharp reversal from his 2023 public support for the ruling party, when he had performed at Zanu-PF rallies and encouraged youth engagement, stating he wanted to "help clean the image" of the party.
However, by 10:30 PM, Holy Ten deactivated his Instagram account @holytenmusic, leaving his 200,000+ followers in shock. He later returned at 10:53 PM with a brief apology:
"Apologies to my brothers Sean & Collins."
The Mnangagwa family has not commented publicly on the incident, leaving Zimbabweans and online followers to speculate on the reasons behind the rapid climbdown.
The episode stands out as one of the most extraordinary celebrity meltdowns in recent Zimbabwean social media history — a dramatic timeline of anger, defiance, and sudden reconciliation played out live for tens of thousands of viewers.
