Mobile transactions decline to $2,4 billion

THE total value of transactions processed through the National Payment Systems (NPS) amounted to $2,45 billion during the week ending May 24  down from $2,70 billion recorded the previous week.

According to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) Weekly Economic Highlights report transactions processed through the real time gross settlement (RTGS) system stood at US$1,54 billion, a 17,8 percent decrease from US$1,87 billion recorded in the previous week.
