Turnover was solid at $1.7 million dollars in a session that saw decent trades being recorded in Delta, Econet and Innscor.
 
The market was fairly active today but on very thin volumes.

The industrial index advanced 1.79 points (0.84%) to close at 215.18 points. Old Mutual was 5 cents firmer at 265 cents, Delta added 3.10 cents to 143.10 cents and Hippo rose 3 cents to trade at 115 cents. PPC gained 1.01 cents to 251.01 cents and Meikles pushed up 0.50 cents to 27 cents.

On the downside, NicoDiamond retreated a cent to 1.50 cents. Ariston eased 0.20 cents to trade at a cent and Econet was 0.01 cents weaker at 62.99 cents.

The mining index shed 2.45 points (5.05%) to close at 46.09 points. Hwange was down 4 cents to trade at 10 cents. Bindura,Falgold and RioZim were unchanged at previous trading levels.
