ZSE's Industrials remained subdued on Tuesday but significant deals Barclays, CBZ, Delta, Econet and Mash saw the daily market turnover rising to $4,535 million from $3,662 million yesterday.

The Industrials Index dropped 0.65 points or 0.31% to 208.94.

Heavyweight counters Delta, Econet and Innscor continued to trade unchanged at 146.5c, 63c and 77c respectively.

The Minings Index remained stable at 44.58 points as Bindura traded unchanged at 2c while there were no trades by other mining counters.

Daily market turnover improved to $4,535 million on a volume of 15.31 million against yesterday's $3,662 million on a volume of 6.655 million shares.

OK Zimbabwe dropped 020c or 0.91% to 21.8c.

PG Industries led the top risers on the board, shedding 0.02c or 20% to 0.12c while Truworths added 0.30c or 7.5% to 4.3c.

Edgars gained 0.51 c or 4.08% to 13.01c and ZHL added 0.04c or 2.41% to 1.7c. SeedCo added 2c or 7.5% to 90c

Bankers NMB led the top fellers, shedding 2.5c or 33.33% to 5c while FBC dropped 2.48c or 19.84% to 10.02c. TSL eased 2c or 5.41% to 35c and Padenga traded 0.09c or 1% weaker at 8.91c.

Afdis closed 30c buyers and 36 sellers only after shareholders yesterday approved a $5 million rights offer after the company announced plans to commission a new cider manufacturing plant next year as it seeks to grow domestic and regional market share.

The Zfn board closed largely in the red with 5 sectors ending in the red while gains were recorded in 3 sectors.

The benchmark Datvest All Share Index closed 0.77 points or 0.55% weaker at 139.84 while the heavyweights measure, the FBC ZSE-10 Index was 0.14 points or 0.10% lower at 147.15.

The Banking Index was a significant 5.33% in the red at 76.82 following losses in FBC and NMB.

Gains were recorded in the Agri-Industrial Index (+0.66%), the Insurance Index (+0.43%) and the Truworths Retail Index which added 0.10% to 298.23.
