Public Service minister Nicholas Goche yesterday admitted before Parliament that management at the National Social Security Authority had made some imprudent investments using public funds.
Goche made the admission while responding to Bikita West MP Munyaradzi Kereke and Mutasa South MP Irene ZIndi, who wanted the minister to explain government policy on imprudent and reckless $100 million investments by NSSA and what government was going to do to ensure similar abuses did not recur.
Goche said he will make a statement on what measures would have been taken to ensure there is recovery of the money invested in a manner that will show prudency.
