British American Tobacco has been certified as a top employer in southern Africa by the Top Employers Institute.

Based on independent research, the Top Employers Institute said British American Tobacco offers its employees outstanding working conditions and looks after its staff exceptionally well.

The world's most international tobacco group with a presence in 180 countries across the globe employs over 400 people across Angola, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe, and this forms part of its southern African markets.

The Top Employers Institute globally certifies excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people.

The company has just completed this year's research into the employee conditions of a large number of employers in Africa.

British American Tobacco has been certified as a Top Employer Africa 2014 in Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
